Another financial advantage of outpatient programs is you can continue to work and earn wages while receiving treatment, compared to a residential program that would require you to take vacation/sick days or a leave of absence from work to attend. An Overview of Drug and Alcohol Rehab Length of Treatment Required When you first begin alcohol or drug treatment, you will go through an evaluation assessment, after which a counselor will make a recommendation as to how long you should stay in treatment to have the best chance of achieving your goals. Unless you are court-ordered into rehab, you are the person who makes the final decision about how long you stay in a treatment program. The evaluator may recommend that you commit to a 90-day residential program, but you are the one who will decide how long you need to remain in the program. It is possible that all you need is a short detoxification program followed by a short period during which your withdrawal symptoms are monitored and medicated as necessary. A detox program can take a little as three to five days or up to a week to 10 days, perhaps two weeks at the longest. However, depending on your evaluation, the counselor may recommend that you continue your treatment for 28 days, 90 days or even longer. In the case of heroin addiction, you could be placed in a methadone or suboxone treatment program that lasts for a year and sometimes longer. Naturally, the longer that you are in the program, the more your treatment is likely to cost. A short two-week detoxification program is going to cost a lot less than 28 days in a residential rehab facility. Amenities Offered by the Facility Professional alcohol and drug treatment is a consumer item. If you can afford it, you can get the treatment you need along with many other personal services you desire in luxury surroundings with all of the amenities you would expect at a first-class resort or spa. It stands to reason that services provided at a facility located with an ocean or waterfront view, or a center located on a secluded mountain top, are going to cost more than one located in the inner-city. Luxury-type facilities that were built specifically to be a treatment center are probably going to cost more than one located in a former residence or office building. Again, if you can afford it, you can choose the surroundings in which you go through alcohol and drug treatment, whether it is on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, or in a bleak government-maintained building in the city. Luxury Treatment Programs Going to drug or alcohol rehab does not mean you have to give up the luxurious surroundings and amenities that you are used to. If money is not an issue, you can find a facility that can provide you all of the services that you desire, but expect to pay an average between $20,000 to $80,000 a month for your treatment program, and depending on how many extra services you require, up to $120,000 a month. Typical Treatment Programs The vast majority of drug and alcohol residential treatment programs in the United States offer very few, if any, luxury amenities. They mostly provide the basics: a room with a bed, bathroom, television, and space to store your personal items. At some facilities, you can save money if you do not mind sharing a room. If you do not need luxury amenities and are looking for a facility that offers high-quality drug and alcohol treatment services, you can find many of them with an average cost between $10,000 and $20,000 a month. Low-Cost Treatment Programs If you have health insurance, you can find low-cost treatment options by finding facilities that accept private insurance. Your insurance plan may not cover all of the costs of your alcohol and drug treatment, but most of them today will pay for detoxification services, treatment of withdrawal symptoms, and psychological counseling for substance abuse problems. Most insurance plans will no longer pay for residential treatment, so most patients who rely on private insurance to pay for their treatment choose outpatient programs instead. The average cost of an outpatient program is around $1,400, but some outpatient programs can cost $10,000 a month. If you find that you need residential treatment, and your insurance will not pay for it, many facilities will work out a payment plan with you for their residential services, so that you can pay by the month while receiving services. The contrast between this and the previous scene causes more pity from the audience who have just witnessed the happy marriage and know from the prologue that the play does not end happily. Since the Montagues shall not scape a brawl if they meet with the Capulets in this scene, the audience starts to expect events that will damage Romeo and Juliets future happiness. When Romeo faces Tybalt he is insulted by him but still claims his love for him and his family, here the audience pity Romeo as he is called a villain by Tybalt. This shows how even though Romeo shows Tybalt politeness and kindness Tybalt still has anger towards him due to the family feud. Romeo and Juliets relationship hopes to challenge this feud and aggression but the audience knows that the feud will not end until they are both dead, the continuance of their parents rage, / which, but their childrens end, nought could remove, therefore the audience fear that Tybalt will not back away from the fight. After Mercutios death there is huge pity felt for Romeo as he has lost one of his best friends in a fight he was trying to prevent, Gentle Mercutio, put thy rapier up. Also the audience fear for both of the lovers as Mercutio angrily announces A plague a both your houses! And more fear is felt as Romeo says he will take revenge and fight with Tybalt for Mercutios death, Either thou or I, or both, must go with him. The audience knows that if Romeo kills Tybalt he should be killed as well and therefore they fear for his life as well as for the feud between the families, which Romeo may prevent from ever ending if he fights with Tybalt. The fear turns to pity when, after Tybalts death, Romeo realizes this too; O, I am fortunes fool! This is very moving as it shows that Romeo sees that his fate has been sealed by this, and any future happiness lost. At the end of the scene Romeo is banished from Verona so the audience feels sad for him but more so for Juliet who does not yet know of Romeos banishment or her cousin, Tybalts death. By having this event straight after the couples marriage, the audience has more pity for the lovers who have not yet spent time together or had their wedding night, but have already been torn apart. The audience may also fear that Romeo will stay in Verona to see Juliet and therefore be killed. While act 3, scene 1 features Romeo but not Juliet, and more pity felt for Romeo in the scene, pity for Juliet is clearly created in act 3, scene 5 where Juliet not only has to say goodbye to Romeo, but also learns that she must marry Paris in a few days. Art critisim essays While attending the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art I was fascinated by all the different styles, textures, and materials that where used to make art. But of all the extraordinary works of art on display perhaps one of the smaller pieces was the one that had the biggest impact on me. In this art criticism paper about Jackson Pollocks, Silver and Black Diptych, exhibited in the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, a description, interpretation and summary will help the reader understand and appreciate this 1950 work of art. This piece of art created by Jackson Pollock in 1950 is an oil paint and metal on a canvas. The artwork measures exactly 11 Ã ½ x 17 inches. The white canvas is painted in Pollocks signature way of flinging, dribbling, and puddling the paint across the canvas. It seems that the piece (canvas) was painted as a whole but is now divided into two equal halves. Hints the title of the piece Silver and Black Diptych, diptych meaning two. Pollock often altered or trimmed his paintings to suite the image. The painting consists of silver and black as the two dominating colors. An extremely dark red and peach color is used sporadically throughout the canvas as well. Also a little orange and blue appear. A thin metal copper colored piece divides the artwork in half. The same material used to divide the artwork is also used as the frame or outer piece. The frame looks to be hand made to fit the canvas exactly. On the right side of the divider in the lower right hand corner is where the most pai nt is applied, mostly black and silver. Also located on the right side of the divider but in the upper right hand corner is an added piece of silver metal that is attached to the canvas. This metal piece is also painted mostly in silver. Well Cleaning Sandtrap System The Sandtrap System is a highly ef? cient method of cleaning out large volumes of sand or proppant from a wellbore where suf? cient annular velocity cannot be obtained to circulate the sand out conventionally using coiled tubing.The system incorporates jet pump technology and is powered by water or nitrogen. No foam is required. The Sandtrap System is extremely cost effective compared to alternatives where foam and chemicals are used. It is also extremely ef? cient and requires minimal time. The sand is removed as the tool is lowered, creating the space to continue the process. Production can be resumed immediately after cleanout. Clean wellbore ? uid enters throat and mixes with power ? uid The system comes in 5-3/4 in. and 3 in. OD sizes. OD Sandtrap System with extensions was chosen since a minimal amount of ? id would be introduced into the well and sand could be captured without circulating all the way up to surface, which would require a foam system. Result: The full 100% tool capacity was ? lled with sand during the ? rst two runs. During the third run only 73% of the capacity was ? lled, indicating that the sand in the well nearly emptied. This was con? rmed with the fourth run only recovering 0. 5 gallon of sand. A total of 265 gallons of sand was recovered during the operation. The restriction is typically in the production tubing string, in the form of nipple pro? les, mandrels, and other completion accessories. In we ll cleaning the most common underreaming task is removing cement left from coiled tubing squeeze cementing. Leftover cement is typically the result of large cement nodes forming at the squeezed perforations, or cement hardening before the excess can be reversed out. These cement restrictions must be removed before re perforating.An underreamer is also used to clean out scale and hard ? ll that cannot be removed from liners by jet-washing tools. A mill could be used in these conditions, but the resulting hole size would be about the same as the internal drift of the tubing, leaving a sheath on the walls of the liner. This sheath could dislodge during subsequent operations, possibly resulting in stuck tools. Perforating would not be as ef? cient because the charges would have to expend energy penetrating the sheath before reaching the liner. OD DBâ⠢ Underreamer with lower bit box was used in combination with a 3. 35 in. turbo mill. This system was chosen because of the plug form of the cement. Cement Casing Result: The underreamer used in combination with the turbo mill successfully milled 1,118 ft of cement in a single run. Using water and high viscous pills, an average rate of penetration (ROP) of 74. 50 ft/hr was achieved. DBâ⠢ Underreamer Assembly 5 Impact Drilling Downhole conditions such as high temperatures (above 400à ° F) and hostile ? uids can signi? cantly reduce the life of a workover motor and limit milling operations.Impact drill systems are an attractive alternative because they perform reliably in adverse conditions. The mos t common applications of the impact drill include scale milling, hard cement milling, resin sand removal, and gravel removal. Camco is a trademark of Schlumberger; Otis is a registered trademark of Halliburton. 13 Recovering Coiled Tubing When coiled tubing parts in tension, it ââ¬Å"necksâ⬠down over several inches at the point where it parted. It is possible for overshots to engage the top of the parted section, but engaging parted coiled tubing can be dif? cult because of residual helix and spring in the coil itself. When coiled tubing parts are in compression, it typically buckles and bends over to form a ââ¬Å"shepherd's hookâ⬠shape.A compression failure normally requires dressing the coiled tubing using a washover shoe before running tools such as a Snipper or Continuous Tubing Overshots. Baker Oil Tools Solutions The Snipper Overshot is used to remove the damaged top section of parted coiled tubing remaining in the hole. A catch and cutting mechanism in the overshot washes over the top of the coiled tubing. Once the required amount of coiled tubing (typically 5 to 10 ft) is ââ¬Å"swallowedâ⬠, overpull is applied, which forces the catch grapple to bite into the coiled tubing. This overpull may be suf? cient to free the ? h. If not, the overpull is increased to activate the lower cutting grapple, which cuts the coiled tubing. Once the snipper has been run, a round ? shneck with a non-restricted ID remains to allow passage of a chemical cutter should one be required later in the ? shing operation. The Snipper Overshot has also been used as a primary retrieval tool to recover several thousand feet of coiled tubing in a single trip. The Continuous Tubing Overshot (CTO) is used to catch coiled tubing that has parted in the hole. The CTO uses an internal grapple sized to the coiled tubing being ? shed.The grapple segments are arranged in a circumference to provide a nearly complete slip bite. They are springloaded against the coiled tubing, so long sections of tubi ng can be washed over without dragging the grapple teeth against the tubing and causing tooth damage. The CTO moves freely downward over the coiled tubing. The grapple segments engage with any upward movement of the tool. The CTO can be run with either threaded tubing or coiled tubing workstrings when ? shing coiled tubing. Sometimes circulating ? uids out around the coiled tubing being ? shed can help to free it.In these cases, a High Pressure Packoff (HPP) is run above the CTO. The HPP can also allow drop balls to be circulated to seat in circulation subs and hydraulic disconnect tools in the original BHA. Actuation of these tools can also help to free the stuck tubing.
